GHS Marching Band – Sponsorship Opportunities
The GHS Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. Jerod Smith, strives to be a cornerstone of pride and support for the GHS football team, school, and community. The band regularly performs in the community’s 4th of July parade, the Circleville Pumpkin Show parade and various band festivals around the state, at times out of state when we have the opportunity! Additionally, the GHS steel drum band (Blue Steel) under the direction of Mr. Andrew Krumm performs regularly around the community. The marching band supports 100+ students and the steel band supports 55+ students!
Granville Arts Boosters is a federally registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that for over 25 years supports and fosters the appreciation of the arts including music, theatre and visual arts appreciation and create opportunities for the Granville exempted school district’s students.
We need your help! Many parents put a lot of effort into supporting the bands needs in several ways from chaperoning and helping the students at the performances, driving the truck, preparing meals and cookies, selling raffle tickets, donuts, etc. We are asking your business to support the activities of the year by taking advantage of a GREAT opportunity we are offering to help you advertise your business!
GHS Granville School’s box truck advertisement!
Granville Schools has approved the opportunity to display a row of business banners at the top of our Granville Music Box truck! (See picture below). This is a GREAT way to get additional exposure for your business and to show the community that you support the Arts at Granville schools!
The banners will be printed in full color on quality vinyl that will look great displayed against the blue background at the top of the box truck giving you every opportunity to display your business graphic with pride!
There are two optional sizes of the banners which will be displayed proudly on the box truck all year long and will be on display at every event possible! Also, because it’s a “donation” you should have a great tax deduction!
OPTION 1 - 12”h x 24”w
Cost for this size is $300 and you can purchase one for each side of the truck!
OPTION 2 - 12”h x 48”w
Cost for 1 side of truck = $500 — Cost break for BOTH sides of truck = $800
In addition – The businesses that choose to advertise on our truck will automatically have a priority option for the following year. We have limited space on the truck that can be used, so we want to be sure to give the businesses who have advertised on it in the previous year “first dibs” on doing it again the following year. Any spots that are unfilled will again be available.
In addition – Because you are showing support for the Arts at GHS, SupportGranville.com has graciously offered to create and place a “donation badge award graphic” next to your business listing on their pages for each year that you participate. Those badges will be permanently placed next to your business listing showing the community that your business supports the arts at GHS!
This is a GREAT way to show your support for the Arts at GHS and to let the public know you do!
What kind of exposure will you get by having your banner on our truck?
The truck travels with the Marching Band and Blue Steel Band to all performances!
Marching Band
- ALL HOME and AWAY football games! – 10 Scheduled – MORE when we make the playoffs! Each home game has approximately 3,000 – 5,000 visitors potentially viewing your banners! Each away game has anywhere from 1,000 – 3,000 on average!
- 5-10 Additional Marching Band events! Including OU Band Day, Johnstown Festival, Homecoming Parade downtown, Denison Football Game, OSU Skull Session, Cleveland Cavs Game, Concert and Wind Ensemble, and potentially more!
Blue Steel Band
- Several Performances! Including Heath Airport, Lynd Fruit Farm, Steel Festival, Miami University, Virginia Beach, and more!
Just for these two bands activities the truck is spending over 100 hours on the road and well over 150 hours in the parking lots of the events where the bands perform, and these hours do not account for when the truck is used by the other school bands to move the instruments to OMEA competitions and similar activities throughout the school year.
